Auto archive Option Missing Outlook

 

Ah! If you are here, then you must have crawled the web in search of a solution for this nagging problem. Let me guess, you disabled the annoying auto-archive function but now that you want it you can’t find it in the menu option.

Rejoice for the solution is here. Make a cup of coffee and follow the instructions below.

To restore the Auto Archive button on Outlook, follow the steps below: 

 

1. Start–> Run –> type in “regedit” without  the “
2. Go to:

   HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook

3. Left click on Outlook folder to reveal a list of files on the right-hand window.
4. Look for the file with name DisablePST
5. Right click on DisablePST
6. Choose modify
7. Change in the value data from 1 to 0
8. Restart Outlook program
9. AutoArchive is restored!
